Employee of the Month

Betsy MacPherson

Betsy is a dedicated member of the Devon Oaks Nursing team. She is well informed about the residents for whom she provides care, and she is an effective team leader. Betsy is very dependable, and remains poised and professional in the most stressful situations. Betsy is willing to share concerns, often offering solutions as well. She is a valued member of Devon Oaks, and we are very lucky to have her on our team.

Evelyn Matthews

Evelyn Matthews, STNA is our July employee of the month!

Evelyn has been a part of the EJ team for 5 years and works very hard on our Skilled Household.

She lives on the eastside of Cleveland and has two children. Her son Carl is 8 years old and her daughter Nyla is 6 years old.

Evelyn says they can be a “handful sometimes” but she loves them very much.

When not at work she enjoys playing with her children, bike riding, going to a water park and also some alone time (when she can).

She likes the different personalities of all the residents which makes every day different. She greets everyone with a smile and her gentle spirit brightens their day. She finds EJ to be a friendly work environment.

One of the funniest things that she has experienced was when a bird pooped on her sister. They were all sitting on the porch and she commented to her sister about the birds being overhead but her sister did not move fast enough. Evelyn found this amusing but of course her sister did not!

Evelyn is a big asset to EJ and we are pleased to congratulate her on being our July 2010 employee of the month.

Tim Gibson

Tim has worked at The Renaissance for about a year and has proven himself to be a “star” employee that is always willing to go above and beyond. Tim works in the Maintenance Department and he is often seen helping residents and staff throughout the building. He specializes in HVAC and this can be challenging at times with a building that does not always cooperate. Regardless, Tim is always willing to do what it takes to get the job done and he never complains.

If you see Tim around the building, please congratulate him for being the May employee of the Month!!
